London Haul!

Hi guys!

So just a quick thing before I get started, I don't know if the writing looks smaller to you, or if the fonts different, but iv just got windows 10, and I cant seem to figure out how to change it! I hope I can figure it out. Also, there wont be any pictures as for some reason whenever I try to add a picture, it freezes. Anyway, lets actually get started!

Last week I went to London (it was really good if you were wondering. Went round Buckingham palace, went to Harrods, went SHOPPING, and saw Mamma Mia!!!!), and I bought a few things down Oxford Street.

I know what you thought of as soon as I mentioned Oxford Street. LUSH Oxford Street. It is AMAZING!! 3 floors of LUSH. But I do have to say, in my opinion, some of the new exclusive bath bombs and bubble bars really didn't smell that nice. They were just colourful. But anyway! I did end up buying 2 bath bombs, and 2 BATH OILS!

"But what are bath oils?!?" Well, thanks for asking! They are like bath melts, except smaller, and very soft. They will literally melt in your hand, and you put them into a running bath. When you get in the bath, it will make your skin sooo soft and they are very relaxing.

So I bought "You've been Mangoed!", and LUSH say "Feeling fruity? This creamy avocado and zesty mango will butter you up nicely," and claims it packs a punch. But it really is worth buying. And it makes your bath go a really light green colour. And I bought,
"Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment." It is " moisturising marshmallow oil whipped up with cocoa butter and almond oil." This literally smells like candy floss. These are really good, and only cost £2, but I will point out if you are going to buy one of these, they do leave a bit of a stain on the sides of the bath, so you might have to spend 3 minutes getting it off.

And the two bath bombs I got where "Big Blue" and the "Yoga" bath bombs. I picked up "Big blue" because it smelt so fresh and calming. I used it a couple of days ago, and it made my bath go bright blue colour, which was really nice. The only downside was that it had seaweed in it. I thought it was going to be flower petals or something, but I was wrong. Some people liked this, so it is just what I think, and I think that it wasn't a good touch. But it did smell nice. The other bath bomb (yoga bath bomb), I haven't used yet. As far as I can see it is just a orange colour (as I finish writing that I take it out of the packet and get the dust ALL over me keyboard. yay). It smells of a mixture of things to me, but mainly: Floral, Orange, and Wood. Im thinking when I use it, it might be more than orange because its got a tiny bit of purple on the outside, but that might be from another bomb. I cant wait to use them!

Then I went down to Superdrug, and bought 2 things. The first I have been waiting to come into the shops for a while, and it is the Makeup Revolution Salvation Velvet lacquer. I got the shade "Velvet Rebel" or just rebel. This is basically a lipstick in the format of a lip gloss. It is very pigmented and it dry's matt. I will be doing a full review on this product, so any questions just put them in the comments below. Its a dark red, and im loving it so far. And finally, the last thing I bought was the NYC Strip me off, peelable base coat for your nails. I don't use this as a base coat. I use it around my nails, so that if I go over my nails, onto my skin, I can peel that off, instead of spending 5 minutes using remover. VERY HANDY!!

So that's all guys. I hope you enjoyed reading, and if you have any questions or suggestions please leave them below. And tell me which LUSH bath bomb is your favourite because I would love to know! BYE xx

Strawberry hack!

Hello!

So this is just going to be a short post, but a very helpful one!

This time of year, there is loads of fruit around for you to eat; strawberry's being one of them, and who doesn't love strawberry's. But, (sounds stupid) how do you cut them correctly, without wasting anything?!?

Well, my friend, I will tell you!

All you need is a straw (preferably the wider ones, about a 1cm wide) and strawberry's.

Simply take the straw, turn the strawberry so its upside down, and push the straw into the point of the strawberry and push it all the way threw. Then there you go! You will have the green leafy part of the strawberry in the straw and clean strawberry left to eat. And you can also eat the left over strawberry from the straw, so nothing is wasted.

This may seem like the most pointless post EVER but trust me, one day, try this and then you will be thanking me!

Thanks for reading guys, sorry I haven't been posting recently but iv been a bit busy. If you like what you read, tell your friends, and if you have any suggestions please comment them below. Thanks again! xx

Smile!

Hello!

So a while back I wasn't feeling my best and it got my thinking, "why am I like this? I should  always be happy". I still don't have a proper reason for feeling slightly down then, but I think we all have them days. But, I found ways around it and I thought, if your in that sort of stage now, I would tell you the ways to keep yourself always happy!

1) Plan fun things to do! Whether it is "I'm going to have a ice cream when I get home" or
"I'm going to London soon!", it will give you something to look forward to. Its the summer holidays soon in England and I can't wait for that! So, plan things to look forward to!

2) Listen to yourself. If your thinking "I want to do that, but if she wants to do it then she can." NO! If you want to do something, don't not do it because someone else is doing it! Do what you want! There are a lot of rules that we have to live by, but don't make more rules for yourself! Don't listen to what anyone else is doing, just do what you want!

3) Chill. Sometimes all you need is a break. If you've got a lot of pressure on you, take some time out. Have film day, have a sleepover with your friends, do anything just to relax a bit.

4) Laugh. Watch a funny film, program or read a funny book. I personally think Miranda or League of their own, are the funniest programs you will ever see!

I hope this helped someone. I just wanted to point out, im not constantly sad or down, its just every once in a while im just not feeling up to it.

If you liked this guys then please share with your friends, follow this blog and comment any suggestions below. Thanks for reading! xx

The Music Tag

Hello!

As you may or may not have realised, I love music. Pop-Rock-Punk-Country-Rap- anything! I will like at least one song in any genre. I'm most into Pop-rock and Punk-rock, and anything with drums in it! (I want to learn how to play the drums). But, apart from that you don't know much about the concerts iv been to, who I USED to be obsessed with, or which artists I don't like. So I thought I would do the "Music tag", 20 questions about music. Let's go!

1) Which band/artist do you own the most albums by? - JLS. There name is going to pop up quite a lot as I used to be obsessed with them and bought everything and anything I could find to do with them. As I tend to listen to my music on Spotify now, I don't buy albums as much now. But yes, my answer is JLS.

2) What was the last song you listened to? - My songs know what you did in the dark by Fall Out Boy

3) What was the last album you listened to? - Blurryface by Twenty One Pilots

4) What was the last show you attended? - The Vamps concert

5) Greatest show you've seen? - Right Place Right Time tour by Olly Murs

6) Worst show you've seen? - Olly Murs's first tour (theatre tour). It wasn't a bad show, it was just smaller and not as exciting compared to his other shows in arena's. He was still really good!

7)  What is your least favourite style of music? - Dance music. I don't know what it is about it, but songs like "Rather Be" and "Cheerleader" just get on my nerves. I like them for at the most a week and then they bug me after that.

8) What show are you looking forward to? - I'm not going to any more shows this year. :(

9) What is your favourite band T-shirt? - I don't own one but I really like the 5 seconds of summer Idiot Baseball Shirt.

10)  Which musician would you love to hang out with for a day? - Probably Jesy Nelson from Little Mix, because she is really nice, we share the same sort of style and she just seems really funny. But any of the Little Mix girls

11) Musician/Group you would love to make a come back? - I don't even need to think about it! JLS without a doubt. If you didn't know, they WERE a British boy band who came second on the X factor, and they broke up at the end of 2013. I was so upset, and I STILL love them!

12) Band/Artist you've always wanted to see live? - I have 2. The obvious choice being 5 seconds of summer because I love them. But... Take That...Yes I know, they are a bit weird of a choice but I just love their concerts! I've seen videos of them and they look amazing!

13) Name four FLAWLESS albums -  Right Place Right Time - Olly Murs, Outta this world - JLS, Riot - Paramore, 5 seconds of summer - 5 seconds of summer.

14) How many music related DVD's do you own? - 4: 2 JLS, 1 Olly Murs, 1 One Direction (bought for me as a present. I do like them but I wouldn't have bought it for myself.)

15) How many concerts have you been to in total? - 10: 4 Olly Murs, 3 JLS, 2 Little Mix, 1 The Vamps.

16) Who have you seen the most live? - Olly Murs

17) What is your favourite movie soundtrack? - I was thinking about this and the first one that came into my head was... Ever Ever After by Carrie Underwood from Enchanted (a Disney film), I just really like it!!!

18) Your latest musical phase? - Paramore. I got into Paramore a while ago, but my friend likes them to so she's gotten me into them more. For example she told me about their album Riot.

19) Your musical guilty pleasure? - Probably Take That. I have friends who like some of their songs but seriously I love them all! And I just love Mark Owen! So Take That.

20) Your favourite book by a musician? - Forever and a day: JLS

So that is everything you need to know about what music I like and don't like, and everything in between! I hope you enjoyed reading, and as normal don't' forget to follow this blog and comment below what other posts you want!! Bye xx

Lipstick collection

Hello!

I thought I would do a lipstick collection because lipstick, at the moment, is my favourite makeup product. These lipsticks are not all recent buys. They vary from a few weeks ago, to a year ago. I try not to keep lipsticks any longer than that, and I have just realised how well iv actually done sticking to that! I will point out there is one lip liner that you may have seen mentioned before, which I am including, because I fill my lips in with it. Ok! Lets go!

Also, I will be talking about them in the order shown in the picture, starting from the left, and the pictures will start from the right, and then go left right, left right. Yeah? Ok! NOW lets go!

 1) Plum Wine by Maybelline. As the name suggests, it is a plum colour and I think it is perfect for winter or autumn. I really like this but because its summer, I cant wear it right now, so that's annoying. The only thing I don't like about this lipstick is that it comes off quite easily. But apart from that, I love it!

2) The next lipstick is from the Little Mix collection, by Collection. It is in the shade Perrie, and it a purple. Yes I know. Why would I pick purple? But I bought this when I was going through a bright colour phase, and it is just a fun colour. Yeah. May not be everyone's taste, but at the time, I loved this!

3) Next is another Collection lipstick, from the Gothic collection, and it is called Sugar Plum. It is a pink/reddish colour. I don't actually wear this that much, but im going to try to. It is quite a bright colour, so maybe more for summer.

4) Now a Essence lipstick. This is in the shade Blush my lips. It is a darker bright pink. There is not much else to say about this apart from the fact that I will be wearing this a lot more now it is getting warmer (or should be. Stupid British weather!).

5)  A L'Oreal lipstick! This is a Colour Riche and is in the shade Pretty Peach.  I got it about 6 months ago and its a coral/peach colour with bits of gold in it. Perfect for summer. And I just wanted to mention the packaging! Its so pretty. Have a look at the picture at the top to see it.

 6) This is a Rimmel lipstick, from the Kate collection, and it is in shade 16. It is the basic coral colour. It is matt and yeah, its just nice. My only problem is that if you have dry lips then you can really see that, but I just put a lip balm on before, and then I'm fine.

7) This lipstick is a tester, so I didn't buy it, but it is very nice! It is the LancĂ´me L'Absolu Rouge lipstick in shade 6 (Rose Nu). Unfortunately, I decided to snap this ON A CHEMICLE COVERD TOILET CLEANING GLOVE, so I only have left what didn't snap of, which as you can see, is not a lot. And I bet as your eyes scanned across the picture of all my lipsticks, your eyes locked on that one in confusion. Now, im going to move on before I start getting emotional about my loss of a beautiful lipstick.

 8) This is going to have to be short. This is the Topshop lipstick in Innocent. It is a bubble-gum purple/pink. It is very nice, and I love the packaging.

9) My final lipstick is the Mac Amplified lipstick in Brick-O-La. I have done a full review on this so I will link that below, but it is a dark red with a bit of orange and pink in it. I really recommend this.

10) And finally, a lip liner that I fill my lips in with. It is the No.7 lip pencil in Fire (I think). Its just your basic red colour, and it stays on quite well. And I got this for £1! Yeah, love it!

And there you go! My lipstick collection. I hope it wasn't too long, but there you go (again). If you want any specific posts, please tell me below. they don't have to be beauty by the way. Anything and Everything! And thank you for reading. Don't forget to follow this blog and tell your friends! Bye guys! xx

Review: Nivea Extra Gentle Eye Makeup Remover

Hello!

So I thought I would do a review on a product I have been TRYING to use quite a lot recently, Nivea's Extra Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. I chose this product because it is supposed to be a cheap (£3.00), and effective way to remove makeup.

I say supposed to, for me, this product didn't work. As a wearer of eye liner (waterproof, so it stays on better), I need something that can remove it easily enough for me not to make my eye hurt. But I really have to rub at my eye to get it off, and even then, it doesn't get some of it off, and I have to use a makeup wipe to remove it. And I know that your not supposed to use makeup wipes, but trust me, if your removing eye liner with this stuff, it will do your eyes more good to use a wipe. Really, my eyes hurt after 5 minutes of trying to get it off. 5 minutes! And yes I know, waterproof makeup IS harder to remove but that isn't the point. It claims that it is gentle and it isn't.

Over all I would rate this 4/10. It gets rid of eye shadow ok. But eyeliner AND even mascara really didn't move unless I rubbed my eye really hard.

If you have any further questions please comment below, and if you have any suggestions for a new makeup remover please, also, leave them below. Like normal, tell your friends that this blog exists, follow this blog and thank you for reading!! Bye guys xx

Town haul

Hello!

A couple of weeks ago I went into town and bought a few things. So I thought I would show you what I bought because YOLO (cringe...). Ok. Let's move on from that, and get started!

1) At my local boots, they are doing a no.7 lucky dip for £1, and all the money they make goes to charity. I have tried this once before and got an eye shadow, but it was nothing special. I did it again this time and got a red lip liner! So that was good! Its a matt, red lip liner, but you can use it to fill in all of your lips, which I like to do. It doesn't come as a pencil, it comes as a scrolly up thingy. But its very good!

2) Also at boots, I bought the travel sized version of the Flake Away body scrub, by Soap&Glory. I've wanted to buy this for a long time, but I didn't want to spend £8 on a scrub I might not even like. So I bought the smaller version, for £2.50, and it is amazing! And it smells sooo good! Definitely recommended!

3) Then we went to Superdrug (my favourite shop!), and I bought the Zoella Fizz Bar for £5. For anyone who doesn't know, Zoella is a beauty guru on YouTube. The Fizz Bar is basically a bath bomb in a bar shape, and you can snap of pieces of it. I use 1-2 pieces per bath, and there are 8 all together. It smells good enough to eat. It even has a sticker on the bar when you open it to tell you not to eat it, so that just proves it! Please excuse the shoddy quality of packaging, I had a bit of trouble getting into it as I was so excited!

4) Then we went to lush, and you don't know how difficult it was to only buy two products! But in the end I decided to get my favourite, The Avobath (left), which has lemongrass, avocado's and limes in it, and it cost £3.35 .And the Blackberry Bath Bomb (right), which I have never tried before, and that has blackberry's, and bergamot oil in it, and it cost £3.25. I'm very excited to try that! And it has a surprise in the middle apparently!

So that's what I bought in town! If you want any reviews, or want to know what the surprise was in the Blackberry Bath Bomb, then comment below. Like normal, make sure you follow this blog if you like what you read, and tell your friends! Bye guys!! xx

Tutorial: No heat, wavy/ curly hair tutorial!

Hello!

Today I tried a new way of making my hair wavy/curly. My hair is very frizzy and I can't do much with it unless I give myself a hour to work on it! And curling my hair with heat just doesn't seem to work, and I look like a soaked dog with my hair straightened, so yeah...

And this isn't one of those things that you think I cant do it because you need that product and those clips and this and that..." You literally need:

Long/medium hair (short hair won't work)
Your usual hair washing products (I use tresemme shampoo and conditioner)
Elastic hair bands (preferably), or normal hair bands
A towel
Hands
Time

Let's go!

Step one) Wash your hair like normal, but when It comes to drying it, towel dry it until it stops dripping (so its still quite wet, just not dripping)

Step two) Depending on how much hair you have, and how curly you want your hair (tighter curls- smaller sections of hair, wavy/slightly curly- big sections of hair), split your hair into how many sections you want (I split my hair into three sections).

Step three) Take a hair band (elastic or normal) and tie it at the top of one of your sections. Do this for all of your sections.

Step four) Plait the sections tightly (not together, individually) until you get to the bottom of your hair, and then using another hair band, tie it tightly. I would show you a picture, but I looked ridiculous! Don't worry, it pays off!

Step five) Go to sleep with your hair still wet; it will dry naturally.

Step six) When you wake up, get ready like normal -leaving your hair as the last thing you need to do- but make sure you leave yourself at least 10 minutes to un-tie your hair.

Step seven) Cut the top band with some small scissors, and then take out the bottom band without cutting it, so you can use it next time. Then un-plait your hair.

And there you go! Lovely, curly hair!

This is what my hair looked like. It lasted pretty much all day, but it goes more wavy as the day goes. It still looks really nice though!

I hope this was helpful, and please comment below if you tried it. I would love to hear what you thought of the outcome!

Don't forget to follow this blog to see more posts like this, hauls and other fun stuff, and comment any ideas below! Bye! xx

I'm so sorry.

Hello

So if you remember about 6 WEEKS AGO(!) I told you that I would be going on holiday, and upload ATLEAST 2 posts while I was away. I FAILED

Now 6 weeks later I am finally posting again. I really don't know what happened. I got so used to not writing that I just didn't get round to it. And I love writing these posts, I think maybe I just got sick of the schedule that I was running by.

I'm still going to be posting, probably more than I did before, but im not going to have a schedule. I'm going to write when I want to, and if I don't feel up to, then i'll just post more the next time if that makes sense (I think I confused myself there too).

I just didn't like HAVING to post on Wednesday and Saturday every week. It made me think "you HAVE to get that done for Wednesday", not "you should try and get that done for Wednesday, but if it goes up on Thursday that's ok too"

I hope this is ok with everyone. I know I've changed my plans a lot lately, I just want to enjoy what im doing.

Once again I am very sorry that I haven't been posting
Any ideas or requests please comment below, and have a great day! xx

P.S There is a tutorial and haul coming very soon, so look out for that!

On the plane

Hello!

I'm currently writing this on a plane. Let's see... Only 1:30 hours left!! Aghhhh. Think that's long, Iv been on here, in a surprisingly comfy chair, but nether the less, for 7:30 hours!! I thought I would talk you threw what I'v been up to, I case you have any long haul flights soon, or if you just want to know.

Just to point out, if you didn't read the previous post about it. I'm going to florida for 2 weeks, and I'm going to do some posts on what I'm up to (second time I'v used that phrase in 2 minutes). I do recommend reading that post first before reading this. Anyway, let's crack on.

The first thing I did was watch a film called Dolphin Tale 2. I'v seen the first one and had high hopes for this, but it wasn't that interesting at all. I skipped most of it, just so I could see the interesting bits. Not recommended.

Next I played on my DS, yes I'm still stuck in 2010, and I played.... Professor Layton. ITS ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD! It was the Pandora's box one. And it wasted about a hour. You can all laugh but it was a time waster.

Then I listened to some music. At the moment I really like:
The Pretendor by the Foo Fighters
Paramore by Paramore (no way!) (album)
And I'v been quietly rocking out to:
Misery by Good Charlotte
Anthem by Good Charlotte
And every song by 5 seconds of summer (not a song, just saying I'v listened to all of there songs)

Then I watched a film called If I Stay. OH MY GOD!! This film is amazing. I literally have no words. No matter who you are, WATCH IT!!  I was almost crying, and I never cry at films. I...I have nothing to say...just watch it....

That's about all, of course I'v done other things but it wasn't very interesting. I now have 1:17 hours left.

Thank you for reading. Any suggestions, please comment below. And please subscribe if you like what you read. Bye!! xx

The Fashion Tag

Hello!

Today im doing another tag, which is the fashion tag. These questions may not be the original questions, but I liked them so that's what we're doing!! Ok, lets go!

1) Top 3 favourite clothes shops: Primark, New Look, Top Shop

2) Shop you don't usually buy from: Urban Outfitters

3) Last accessory you bought: Silver arrow earrings from H&M

4) Do you own something you've never worn? What?: Butterfly Necklace from New Look

5) Do you think a lot about what you wear or do you just like being comfortable?: I like being comfy, so I usually wear a T-shirt and a hoody, but I still think about what im wearing. I wear a lot of black, white and dark colours, or at least try to. So I guess both.

6) My wardrobes mainly full of: T-shirts.

7) Most comfortable item of clothing: My red hoody

8) What hat would you never wear?: A beret (they don't suit me at all)

9) What's your style?: I'm not girly. I don't really like pink that much. I wear dark colours most, and tend to stick to skinny jeans and T-Shirts. I don't really know what my "style" is.

10) Favourite T-Shirt:  It looks better on than just on my bed. The patterns like a faded picture of dandelions with a dark background. I really like it.

11) Favourite dress: I cant show you this because im going on holiday in 5 days (!) and its been packed. But in case you want a description, it is red and has black roses all over it.

12) Favourite jacket: A khaki coloured jacket, which has a bronze coloured zip and a colourful panel at the back. This was from

13) Favourite shoes: My Doc Martin style shoes from New Look.  You've all seen them already. Iv talked about them a lot too!

14) Favourite earrings: my silver arrows which I talked about above.

I hope you enjoyed. I'm quickly going to mention, im going on holiday on Monday, so there MIGHT not be as many uploads as usual, but I will try. I'm going to do a proper explanation on Saturday, but I thought I would tell you quickly now.

As usual, please comment what you thought below. If you have any suggestions please say. And don't forget to subscribe! Bye! xx

Let's talk about: My teeth

Hello!

This week I have finally, after 3 years of waiting , been told that I'm going to get braces soon. My teeth are not great. My teeth themselves aren't bad but its just how they look. I hate them. They are jumbled up, in the wrong order, in the wrong place and I hate it. But it's getting better. So, today I am going to talk about my teeth and yeah!

Growing up, I had ok teeth. generally in the right place but when I was about 7 and I started loosing more teeth, it took them quite a while to grow back. I had two big gaps on the top of my mouth (where teeth had fallen out) and one tooth in the middle at one point. It wasn't a great look.

Because they took so long to grow back, my remaining teeth started to move around. That's where the problem started. Because they had more room to move, by the time my teeth grew back, there was already a tooth half in that space, so it went on a weird diagonal angle so it could fit in.

Now, my teeth don't look awful, but I still don't like them. It's always took a little bit of my confidence away, especially year 6 and over (age 10). I didn't not want to smile, but I've learnt to smile with my mouth closed, so people wouldn't see my teeth as much.

But now iv accepted it. It doesn't change me. Im still me, I just don't have lovely straight teeth like most people YET. I will one day but todays not that day. tTat's the whole point of this post.

YOUR APPEARANCE IS JUST A PART OF YOU. It doesn't make you, your a personality underneath, that's just the first thing someone see's. But on the inside and out, no matter what you look like, your still a great person, even if you don't think it.

I hope you like this post guys. there will be another part when I get my braces, so look forward to it!

Thanks guys! Please comment below any ideas for other blog posts (it doesn't have to be beauty). Thanks again! Bye xx

Anyone can comment!

Hello!

Just a quick update to tell you: anyone can comment!

"Lucy, what does that mean?"

It means now that you don't need a blogger account to comment on a post, you can just be a reader and still be able to comment!

I did this so that if you don't want to get a account you can still interact with me! Hope its helpful!

Beauty Haul

Hello!!

Today I went to town and I bought a couple of things. I went with my friends who also have blogs so I'll leave the link to their blogs below. Let's go!

We went to LUSH first and I bought the Melting Marshmallow Moment bath melt (try saying that quickly!!). This smells a lot like the Candy Mountain bubble bar that you can buy at Christmas. If anyone doesn't know, a bath melt is like a bath bomb but it doesn't fizz, it just melts (obviously!) into your bath and leaves you skin SUPER soft!! This was £3.95. I can't wait to use this!

Next we went to Boots. I wasn't planning on getting anything, but all of my friends were buying lip balms and at the moment I love ANYTHING Watermelon. I'd heard about the Nivea Fruity Shine lip balm in watermelon on YouTube, and I'd heard it was really good. So I had to buy it! It looks a Dark Sparkly pink but on your lips it is a very sheer pink.It smells amazing and it was £1.79, which I think is good.

Then we went to Superdrug. Again, I wasn't planning on getting anything. But I saw the NYC Cream Stick blush, and my friend told me it was really good. It was £2.99 and I got the shade Soho Pink, which (as you will see) is more of a dark, natural pink. I didn't want anything to obvious as I don't wear blush often. I'll tell you what I think of it on another blog.

Finally, we went to a shop called Savers. I don't know if this is a chain or not, but hopefully it is! It is a shop were (obviously) you save money on products which you can get in your normal shop. I found these Little Mix nail wraps (which I wanted to buy about a year ago and couldn't find them again!) for 79p! I think they are usually £4!!! BARGAIN ALERT!!! The design is really cool; quite cartoon-y. Again I'll tell you what I think of them on another blog.

I did buy some things for Mothers day but I've decided not to show them in case my mum see's!

If you want any reviews of one of these products please comment below which one, and I'll do it in the future. Also, I've been noticing that a few Americans have been reading, so if that's you, please say hello! I would love to know that your there!

I hope you have a great mothers day and thank you for reading. xx

Change of plan

Hello!

Iv just decided that I don't want to just do reviews on the weekend. Now I know that this is all quite sudden and iv seemed happy with it before, AND iv only been doing it for a couple of weeks, but im just not happy with it.

When I set out to do this, I didn't want to be the typical beauty blogger, I wanted to do beauty, but also funny blogs, fashion blogs and everything else! I didn't and don't want to just stick to writing in one category.

I hope this is ok with everyone. Please comment what you think below!!! xx

I regret it!!

Hello!!

I wanted to do a post on things that you and I may regret buying or doing. Im sure all of us regret doing something. I certainly do. And trust me, there are one or two moments that I will never get out of my mind. OH, the regrets are so real!

First of all, shopping! Most of us love it. But love it or hate it there will be something that you've bought thinking

"YEAH!! That'll look great!!"

And then when you get home, you realise that maybe that purple and green tartan jumper doesn't look as nice on you as you thought... So the lesson learnt here is not to buy things straight away without thinking properly. Why didn't I learn that sooner? :(

Secondly, the embarrassing moment when you do something that you think will be funny, and then mid way rubbish joke, you say to yourself

"What am I doing? Why am I saying this. Im not even laughing. WHATS GOING ON?!?"

But you've committed to your non funny story by then, so you have to just roll with it...

I remember one time I was shopping with my friends and we saw this boy we knew with his dad. So randomly I shouted "Hey ______." I didn't even know him. now that I think about it, im not even sure I said his right name!

Finally, Boys. Me personally, iv been out with people who I regret going out with. (if you know me please do not point out who they are) But at the time, you think its a good idea, and there is nothing wrong with that! Yes, it was a stupid idea, but you will learn from it. I certainly did!

Another thing when it comes to boys is that now the moments that I thought were a bit cringy, were actually quite cute. The first time I held hands with a boy, I was so nervous, and it sounds stupid but I had no idea what I was doing with my hand. But it was cute. And now I wouldn't have changed it for the world.

So basically, the lesson here is to think about what your going to do before you do it, if it has to chance to backfire, but not to regret everything, because you will learn from it.

I hope you enjoyed reading. Comment below what you thought of this style of blog xx

Review on 5 seconds of summer (album)

Hello!

As a Big lover of the Australian band 5SOS (5 seconds of summer), I had to listen to their album. Although, this isn't their newest album (LiveSOS is the newest), I felt that this is my favourite album at the moment, and I had to do a review on it!!

First of all, the cover is amazing! I love the X going across them, and the colours are really cool.  I love the cartoons in the background. I think it shows that they aren't completely serious, they still like to mess around. And they don't look too bad in it either do they ;).
(don't lie, there has to be one of them that you like the look of)

Now onto the music! They are, as they call it, pop-rock, meaning not heavy metal (almost shouting and there is not really a tune) but pop with more guitar and drums. I love it! But some people don't. Baring in mind, I listen to Paramore, and bands like Blink-182 and Good Charlotte, who are punk-rock (they were around in 2005 or near then).

The music involves a lot of guitar and drums, but it isn't overwhelming. They have the slow meaningful songs (amnesia and beside you), they have the more pop songs (don't stop and she looks so perfect) and they the more rocky songs (social casualty and end up here). If you don't like loud music this album isn't really for you.

Even if you don't like their style of music, I really do recommend giving "beside you" a try. Its about them leaving Australia at the age of 17,18 and 19 and moving to the other side of the world to tour with one direction and do their own shows. It is slow and just beautiful.

My favourite song on the album is "Voodoo Doll". It's quite fast and there is a lot of guitar. It is about a girl that they really don't want to fall in love with, but they cant help it- she is basically controlling them. I LOVE it!!

I would give this album 5/5, because it is the style of music I like, but if you aren't into this style, then I would give it a miss. Like I say though, check out "Beside you". You will almost certainly like it!!

thanks for reading xx

Mac Amplified Creme Lipstick in Brick-O-La review

Hello!

This is my first beauty review and its on the Mac Brick-O-La Amplified Creme Lipstick.

I have always wanted to own a Mac lipstick. I don't know why, but here is something special about the packaging and the logo... just me?

Anyway, after a lot of deliberating from a red, to a purple to a pinky-purple. I finally chose the lipstick I wanted. Just to say, if you are looking at buying a Mac lipstick, do NOT look online at pictures, because they don't it doesn't look anything like it does in person, at the shop.

The Brick-O-La is a dark red lipstick and although it is noticeable, it still looks natural. It was quite expensive (£15.50) but i'ts amazing! Not only does it stay on for over 4 hours, it also doesn't dry your lips out (although I would recommend moisturizing your lips before hand. I use my body shop mango lip butter). I cant find any fault in this lipstick apart from, like all lipsticks, it does come off while eating, but then you have the pleasure of applying it again.

Overall, a brilliant red lipstick which will suit all skin tones. 9/10

Thanks for reading and please tell me if you agree or disagree with my thoughts; I would love to hear what you think of it.

As usual, remember to follow this blog, comment bellow and yeah!

see you next time xx
