Hi guys!
So just a quick thing before I get started, I don't know if the writing looks smaller to you, or if the fonts different, but iv just got windows 10, and I cant seem to figure out how to change it! I hope I can figure it out. Also, there wont be any pictures as for some reason whenever I try to add a picture, it freezes. Anyway, lets actually get started!
Last week I went to London (it was really good if you were wondering. Went round Buckingham palace, went to Harrods, went SHOPPING, and saw Mamma Mia!!!!), and I bought a few things down Oxford Street.
I know what you thought of as soon as I mentioned Oxford Street. LUSH Oxford Street. It is AMAZING!! 3 floors of LUSH. But I do have to say, in my opinion, some of the new exclusive bath bombs and bubble bars really didn't smell that nice. They were just colourful. But anyway! I did end up buying 2 bath bombs, and 2 BATH OILS!
"But what are bath oils?!?" Well, thanks for asking! They are like bath melts, except smaller, and very soft. They will literally melt in your hand, and you put them into a running bath. When you get in the bath, it will make your skin sooo soft and they are very relaxing.
So I bought "You've been Mangoed!", and LUSH say "Feeling fruity? This creamy avocado and zesty mango will butter you up nicely," and claims it packs a punch. But it really is worth buying. And it makes your bath go a really light green colour. And I bought,
"Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment." It is " moisturising marshmallow oil whipped up with cocoa butter and almond oil." This literally smells like candy floss. These are really good, and only cost £2, but I will point out if you are going to buy one of these, they do leave a bit of a stain on the sides of the bath, so you might have to spend 3 minutes getting it off.
And the two bath bombs I got where "Big Blue" and the "Yoga" bath bombs. I picked up "Big blue" because it smelt so fresh and calming. I used it a couple of days ago, and it made my bath go bright blue colour, which was really nice. The only downside was that it had seaweed in it. I thought it was going to be flower petals or something, but I was wrong. Some people liked this, so it is just what I think, and I think that it wasn't a good touch. But it did smell nice. The other bath bomb (yoga bath bomb), I haven't used yet. As far as I can see it is just a orange colour (as I finish writing that I take it out of the packet and get the dust ALL over me keyboard. yay). It smells of a mixture of things to me, but mainly: Floral, Orange, and Wood. Im thinking when I use it, it might be more than orange because its got a tiny bit of purple on the outside, but that might be from another bomb. I cant wait to use them!
Then I went down to Superdrug, and bought 2 things. The first I have been waiting to come into the shops for a while, and it is the Makeup Revolution Salvation Velvet lacquer. I got the shade "Velvet Rebel" or just rebel. This is basically a lipstick in the format of a lip gloss. It is very pigmented and it dry's matt. I will be doing a full review on this product, so any questions just put them in the comments below. Its a dark red, and im loving it so far. And finally, the last thing I bought was the NYC Strip me off, peelable base coat for your nails. I don't use this as a base coat. I use it around my nails, so that if I go over my nails, onto my skin, I can peel that off, instead of spending 5 minutes using remover. VERY HANDY!!
So that's all guys. I hope you enjoyed reading, and if you have any questions or suggestions please leave them below. And tell me which LUSH bath bomb is your favourite because I would love to know! BYE xx
LUCY XD
