Lipstick collection

Hello!

I thought I would do a lipstick collection because lipstick, at the moment, is my favourite makeup product. These lipsticks are not all recent buys. They vary from a few weeks ago, to a year ago. I try not to keep lipsticks any longer than that, and I have just realised how well iv actually done sticking to that! I will point out there is one lip liner that you may have seen mentioned before, which I am including, because I fill my lips in with it. Ok! Lets go!

Also, I will be talking about them in the order shown in the picture, starting from the left, and the pictures will start from the right, and then go left right, left right. Yeah? Ok! NOW lets go!

 1) Plum Wine by Maybelline. As the name suggests, it is a plum colour and I think it is perfect for winter or autumn. I really like this but because its summer, I cant wear it right now, so that's annoying. The only thing I don't like about this lipstick is that it comes off quite easily. But apart from that, I love it!

2) The next lipstick is from the Little Mix collection, by Collection. It is in the shade Perrie, and it a purple. Yes I know. Why would I pick purple? But I bought this when I was going through a bright colour phase, and it is just a fun colour. Yeah. May not be everyone's taste, but at the time, I loved this!

3) Next is another Collection lipstick, from the Gothic collection, and it is called Sugar Plum. It is a pink/reddish colour. I don't actually wear this that much, but im going to try to. It is quite a bright colour, so maybe more for summer.

4) Now a Essence lipstick. This is in the shade Blush my lips. It is a darker bright pink. There is not much else to say about this apart from the fact that I will be wearing this a lot more now it is getting warmer (or should be. Stupid British weather!).

5)  A L'Oreal lipstick! This is a Colour Riche and is in the shade Pretty Peach.  I got it about 6 months ago and its a coral/peach colour with bits of gold in it. Perfect for summer. And I just wanted to mention the packaging! Its so pretty. Have a look at the picture at the top to see it.

 6) This is a Rimmel lipstick, from the Kate collection, and it is in shade 16. It is the basic coral colour. It is matt and yeah, its just nice. My only problem is that if you have dry lips then you can really see that, but I just put a lip balm on before, and then I'm fine.

7) This lipstick is a tester, so I didn't buy it, but it is very nice! It is the Lancôme L'Absolu Rouge lipstick in shade 6 (Rose Nu). Unfortunately, I decided to snap this ON A CHEMICLE COVERD TOILET CLEANING GLOVE, so I only have left what didn't snap of, which as you can see, is not a lot. And I bet as your eyes scanned across the picture of all my lipsticks, your eyes locked on that one in confusion. Now, im going to move on before I start getting emotional about my loss of a beautiful lipstick.

 8) This is going to have to be short. This is the Topshop lipstick in Innocent. It is a bubble-gum purple/pink. It is very nice, and I love the packaging.

9) My final lipstick is the Mac Amplified lipstick in Brick-O-La. I have done a full review on this so I will link that below, but it is a dark red with a bit of orange and pink in it. I really recommend this.

10) And finally, a lip liner that I fill my lips in with. It is the No.7 lip pencil in Fire (I think). Its just your basic red colour, and it stays on quite well. And I got this for £1! Yeah, love it!

And there you go! My lipstick collection. I hope it wasn't too long, but there you go (again). If you want any specific posts, please tell me below. they don't have to be beauty by the way. Anything and Everything! And thank you for reading. Don't forget to follow this blog and tell your friends! Bye guys! xx

Review: Nivea Extra Gentle Eye Makeup Remover

Hello!

So I thought I would do a review on a product I have been TRYING to use quite a lot recently, Nivea's Extra Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. I chose this product because it is supposed to be a cheap (£3.00), and effective way to remove makeup.

I say supposed to, for me, this product didn't work. As a wearer of eye liner (waterproof, so it stays on better), I need something that can remove it easily enough for me not to make my eye hurt. But I really have to rub at my eye to get it off, and even then, it doesn't get some of it off, and I have to use a makeup wipe to remove it. And I know that your not supposed to use makeup wipes, but trust me, if your removing eye liner with this stuff, it will do your eyes more good to use a wipe. Really, my eyes hurt after 5 minutes of trying to get it off. 5 minutes! And yes I know, waterproof makeup IS harder to remove but that isn't the point. It claims that it is gentle and it isn't.

Over all I would rate this 4/10. It gets rid of eye shadow ok. But eyeliner AND even mascara really didn't move unless I rubbed my eye really hard.

If you have any further questions please comment below, and if you have any suggestions for a new makeup remover please, also, leave them below. Like normal, tell your friends that this blog exists, follow this blog and thank you for reading!! Bye guys xx

Town haul

Hello!

A couple of weeks ago I went into town and bought a few things. So I thought I would show you what I bought because YOLO (cringe...). Ok. Let's move on from that, and get started!

1) At my local boots, they are doing a no.7 lucky dip for £1, and all the money they make goes to charity. I have tried this once before and got an eye shadow, but it was nothing special. I did it again this time and got a red lip liner! So that was good! Its a matt, red lip liner, but you can use it to fill in all of your lips, which I like to do. It doesn't come as a pencil, it comes as a scrolly up thingy. But its very good!

2) Also at boots, I bought the travel sized version of the Flake Away body scrub, by Soap&Glory. I've wanted to buy this for a long time, but I didn't want to spend £8 on a scrub I might not even like. So I bought the smaller version, for £2.50, and it is amazing! And it smells sooo good! Definitely recommended!

3) Then we went to Superdrug (my favourite shop!), and I bought the Zoella Fizz Bar for £5. For anyone who doesn't know, Zoella is a beauty guru on YouTube. The Fizz Bar is basically a bath bomb in a bar shape, and you can snap of pieces of it. I use 1-2 pieces per bath, and there are 8 all together. It smells good enough to eat. It even has a sticker on the bar when you open it to tell you not to eat it, so that just proves it! Please excuse the shoddy quality of packaging, I had a bit of trouble getting into it as I was so excited!

4) Then we went to lush, and you don't know how difficult it was to only buy two products! But in the end I decided to get my favourite, The Avobath (left), which has lemongrass, avocado's and limes in it, and it cost £3.35 .And the Blackberry Bath Bomb (right), which I have never tried before, and that has blackberry's, and bergamot oil in it, and it cost £3.25. I'm very excited to try that! And it has a surprise in the middle apparently!

So that's what I bought in town! If you want any reviews, or want to know what the surprise was in the Blackberry Bath Bomb, then comment below. Like normal, make sure you follow this blog if you like what you read, and tell your friends! Bye guys!! xx

Tutorial: No heat, wavy/ curly hair tutorial!

Hello!

Today I tried a new way of making my hair wavy/curly. My hair is very frizzy and I can't do much with it unless I give myself a hour to work on it! And curling my hair with heat just doesn't seem to work, and I look like a soaked dog with my hair straightened, so yeah...

And this isn't one of those things that you think I cant do it because you need that product and those clips and this and that..." You literally need:

Long/medium hair (short hair won't work)
Your usual hair washing products (I use tresemme shampoo and conditioner)
Elastic hair bands (preferably), or normal hair bands
A towel
Hands
Time

Let's go!

Step one) Wash your hair like normal, but when It comes to drying it, towel dry it until it stops dripping (so its still quite wet, just not dripping)

Step two) Depending on how much hair you have, and how curly you want your hair (tighter curls- smaller sections of hair, wavy/slightly curly- big sections of hair), split your hair into how many sections you want (I split my hair into three sections).

Step three) Take a hair band (elastic or normal) and tie it at the top of one of your sections. Do this for all of your sections.

Step four) Plait the sections tightly (not together, individually) until you get to the bottom of your hair, and then using another hair band, tie it tightly. I would show you a picture, but I looked ridiculous! Don't worry, it pays off!

Step five) Go to sleep with your hair still wet; it will dry naturally.

Step six) When you wake up, get ready like normal -leaving your hair as the last thing you need to do- but make sure you leave yourself at least 10 minutes to un-tie your hair.

Step seven) Cut the top band with some small scissors, and then take out the bottom band without cutting it, so you can use it next time. Then un-plait your hair.

And there you go! Lovely, curly hair!

This is what my hair looked like. It lasted pretty much all day, but it goes more wavy as the day goes. It still looks really nice though!

I hope this was helpful, and please comment below if you tried it. I would love to hear what you thought of the outcome!

I'm so sorry.

Hello

So if you remember about 6 WEEKS AGO(!) I told you that I would be going on holiday, and upload ATLEAST 2 posts while I was away. I FAILED

Now 6 weeks later I am finally posting again. I really don't know what happened. I got so used to not writing that I just didn't get round to it. And I love writing these posts, I think maybe I just got sick of the schedule that I was running by.

I'm still going to be posting, probably more than I did before, but im not going to have a schedule. I'm going to write when I want to, and if I don't feel up to, then i'll just post more the next time if that makes sense (I think I confused myself there too).

I just didn't like HAVING to post on Wednesday and Saturday every week. It made me think "you HAVE to get that done for Wednesday", not "you should try and get that done for Wednesday, but if it goes up on Thursday that's ok too"

I hope this is ok with everyone. I know I've changed my plans a lot lately, I just want to enjoy what im doing.

Once again I am very sorry that I haven't been posting
Any ideas or requests please comment below, and have a great day! xx

P.S There is a tutorial and haul coming very soon, so look out for that!
